We have used Greaves Construction on many projects on our home. Complete kitchen/dining room gut and remodel, addition closet space and master remodel, storage/workshop, car port remodel, new office addition, exterior doors. On all these projects we have found Jon and his team to be knowledgeable, professional, courteous, friendly and excellent skills. Jon is great at helping to figure the best solutions for your remodeling needs. We will not use anyone else, they show up on time and when they say they will which can not be said about many other service people/trades. I have recommended Greaves Construction to numerous family and friends and everyone always has a positive experience!!

Greaves Construction created a fabulous kitchen for us. From start to finish, the Greaves team was organized, conscientious, kept the work site extremely clean, and was very flexible in making needed adjustments as the kitchen remodel rolled out. They were open to our ideas, provided good counsel, and worked hard to accommodate our dream for our kitchen. Jon is extremely patient and manages his team and sub-contractors very well. He chooses his team carefully and they were completely trustworthy, delivered a quality product, and were always friendly and professional. We absolutely recommend Greaves Construction and will certainly use them again ourselves should the opportunity arise.

I contracted Greaves Construction to remodel my laundry room. Although a small room, this job involved moving the gas line, dryer vents and electrical as well as all new cabinetry and countertops. I met with several other contractors, and although Jon Greaves did not have the lowest quote, he came with the most experience and great ideas for improving the space. (His idea to include an attic booster fan for the dryer has improved our drying time greatly). Jon and his crew - (shoutout to Bernie and Nick) were professional, on-time, clean and eager to make this project perfect. I would not hesitate to use them again for a bigger job because of their professionalism and speed. Kudos to the team - Thanks!

Greaves Construction is a responsive, punctual contractor who took my own kitchen design ideas into consideration without trying to push me into anything I
didn't want. We did the demo and they did a complete remodel of my kitchen; reconfigured the plumbing, re-shaped the island, new cabinets, granite countertops, closed off an arched doorway and installed new wood flooring throughout the house. They kept the trades on track and moving on schedule. It turned out exactly as I'd imagined it. It's beautiful!

We hear so many bad things about contractors, looking for one is like buying a car; a slow (sometimes almost painful) and frustrating process where you feel intimidated, worn-down and finally just hold your breath and "pick one". Save yourself some time and a lot of aggravation and just call Jon Greaves. I'd hire them again without question.

It is my pleasure to recommend Greaves Construction Company. When my elderly mother sustained a spinal cord injury and was confined to a wheelchair, I had to renovate her home to safely accommodate her needs. I contracted Jon Greaves because of his expertise as a CAPS (Certified-Aging-in-Place Specialist) contractor. They completed the work within the time frame quoted. The workers were friendly and polite. They kept my mother’s home clean while they worked and put everything back in its place. They came back three times to install extra grab bars for my mother, one of which they customized. The new bathroom is beautiful! The bathroom and other changes made throughout the house will enable my mother to remain safely and comfortably in her home. Mr. Greaves was available to discuss the renovations throughout the process by phone, email, and visits to my home. My experience with Greaves Construction Company has been very positive and I would recommend them to my friends, family, the elderly and disabled.

We lived in the house during the construction of a bedroom addition and several remodel projects around our 1953 home, survived one of the worst storm seasons in Tampa (2004) and brought a newborn baby home from the hospital!! Jon and his crew were professional people to work with, always reliable and helpful, going above and beyond to make the disruptive process of construction pleasant...not just bearable but downright pleasant! He stayed on budget and completed everything within the time frame promised. I still call him to this day when I need home project referrals and assistance. BEST GUY/TEAM EVER for remodels!!!

Overall: We would happily hire Jon Greaves and his team again in the future. We had a fantastic experience during the renovation of our 1927 Mediterranean home.

Before: After thorough research of multiple GCs, we decided on Greaves Construction to lead our renovation efforts - and what a great decision that was!!! From the very start, communication was clear, service was personable and professional, and the process was easily understandable.

They listened to our ideas and wishes and helped us design the perfect spaces. Our project consisted of complete renovations (down to wall studs and floor joists) for the kitchen and both the master and guest bathrooms and a complete teardown and rebuild of 3 pergolas.

During: This was our first-ever renovation of an older home - a process that is fraught with peril, but as we uncovered and discovered various issues, Greaves helped us just work right through them without stress. Additionally, Greaves was mindful of our budget and constantly looked for opportunities to keep our costs down without sacrificing quality.

Our on-site foreman was an incredibly professional, personable, and meticulous teammate. He asked for and accepted our input without hesitation so he could help us realize our vision. The results are even better than we had envisioned!

Jon Greaves has succeeded in keeping his sub-contractors for long periods of time - and we spoke with every one of them as they were on site. All were high-quality craftsmen and human beings. They stay with Jon Greaves because of the type of gentleman and businessman he is - each of them had nothing but respect for Jon personally and Team Greaves in general.

Jon Greaves and the entire company is top notch. I needed a new kitchen, relocate water heater, new floors, a new bathroom, and a complete new roof on a detached one-car garage (flat/tar & gravel to pitched with shingles).

Absolutely amazing work and extremely professional. Mr. Greaves has been a respected member of the community for many years and I have never heard anything negative from anyone. The work he did on my house was not only high quality, but his designs were perfect for me and my family. In addition, I hired him again after we had some extreme water damage and needed extensive repairs. He came in, last minute, and fixed everything back to its original condition, at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend and I will continue to hire him for any work I need.
